Well, the answer is simple. Oatmeal cookies definitely will help you reduce the burden on your chest. They are a healthier option compared to the regular cookies. Let us see how the recipe goes.

  • 110 gms Raisins / Dark Choco Chips/ Dried Berries
  • 110 gms Walnuts / Cashews (Toasted and Chopped)
  • 170 gms Unsalted Butter
  • 260 gms Rolled Oats
  • 210 gms Brown Sugar
  • 105 gms All Purpose Flour
  • 30 ml Milk
  • ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

First, preheat the oven to 180 degree for 5 minutes.

Beat the Butter and Sugar until a creamy mixture is formed.

Add Milk and Vanilla extract. Beat and mix it in same mixture.

In a separate bowl, whisk Flour, Salt, Soda and Cinnamon powder.

Add Flour mixture to the Butter and Milk mixture. Mix them well together.

Add chopped nuts, raisins and lastly the oats and mix well.

Use an ice cream scoop to make balls of the dough and place it on a baking sheet. Keep a distance of 2 inches between two scoops.

Please cover the baking sheet with parchment paper before putting the scoops. Press the scoops slightly so that they go flat.

Bake for about 12-15 mins. Check if they have turned golden brown and stop baking.  The cookies will be soft in middle. Don’t worry, that is how they are supposed to be when hot.

Remove from oven and keep the baking sheet in open, so that the cookies settle.

Remove and transfer on a wired rack to let them cool completely and become hard.

Enjoy crispy and healthy oatmeal cookies!

  1.  Please refrigerate the batter when your baking is ON.
